CTS Engines (CTS), a leading provider of jet engine maintenance services, announced today that it has signed a comprehensive five-year CF6-80C2 engine repair and overhaul agreement with Atlas Air Worldwide (Atlas), the world’s largest B747 operator. The agreement includes two optional extension years, reinforcing the long-standing partnership between the two companies and their shared commitment to supporting the global Boeing 747 freighter fleet.
Under the terms of the agreement, CTS Engines will provide full MROsupport for Atlas’ fleet of CF6-80C2 engines, which power its Boeing 747-400 aircraft. The services will be performed at CTS’s newly opened state-of-the-art facility in Coral Springs, Florida, designed specifically to support mature engine platforms.
